whatabouttibet.com is currently undergoing some major re-vamp work.
Originally I had intended the website to be a one-stop encyclopedia with everything about Tibet on it. However, with the advent of Wikipedia, and the huge, gaping gaps in my own knowledge, this task is clearly impossible.
So, in future, WAT will be have a more focused approach, and will serve as an introduction to various aspects of Tibet and its people, providing links to more detailed information when possible.
The website will also be used to store various interview transcripts with Tibetans in exile, as well as Essays etc.
News stories will occassionally be updated as well, but these will predominantly focus on activities in the UK & possibly Nepal.
Due to my very basic HTML skills, I'll be keeping the layout of the website the same- nice and simple.
Any suggestions and comments about what you would like to see on the website and how I could change it for the better will be much appreciated. Lastly, if you have any essays/reviews/photos etc. that you would like to see on the website, please let me know, and I'd be happy to host them for you.
Cheers,
Luke Ward (Webmaster)
